Ronald Morris affectionately known as "Big Ron" was the nineth child born to Delessie Morris and Herbert Wilson on January 18, 1968 in Chicago, IL. Ronald surrendered himself to the Lord at an early age and was baptized at the Apostolic Church of God under the Pastorate of Bishop Brazier.
Ronald was called home to Glory on June 10, 2019 at 11:40 a.m. He was preceded in death by his mother, Delessie Morris, Father, Herbert Wilson, brothers, Kenneth Morris, and Arthur Morris Jr, grandparents Will and Bell Hoskins and Godfather, Donald Tillman.
Ronald was a smart, caring, giving and beautiful human being. He was loved by all who knew him. He was also supportive, inspirational, protective and understanding in various situations. He had a tremendous sense of humor and absolutely demanded family gatherings. Whenever anyone reached out to him, he was always ready and willing to help.
Ronald attended Bradwell Elementary and Bryn Mawr Elementary Schools and graduated from South Shore High School in 1988. Ronald received a certification in Heating and Cooling, he also served as a Doorman at the Barclays Condominium Building in Hyde Park Chicago.
The most important thing to Ronald was his family, especially his children, Ronald Jr. and Roxanne, and grandson Ronald III. Ronald loved his children dearly and always spoke very highly of them. They were his pride and joy and he always moved mountains for them.
Ronald enjoyed cracking jokes, with and on his siblings, at every family function. He also loved to prepare his signature dish, mostaccioli. He also had a very special relationship with each and every one of his siblings, nieces and nephews. He had many passions, but his favorite was to drive (fast preferably), like the unauthorized racing he would attend some nights on Doty Road.
