Katherine Smiley

,Katherine Smiley was born on August 29, 1957 in Jackson, Mississippi to the late Jack Smiley and Rose Lee Young.

Katherine relocated to Chicago, Illinois at the age of fourteen to live with other relatives. While living in Chicago she attended Englewood High School and later received her Certified Nursing Assistant Certificate. She worked as a CNA for several years until health reasons prevented her from doing so.

Katherine enjoyed reading, watching movies and being around family and friends.

She is preceded in death by: parents, Jack Smiley and Rose Lee Young, and one daughter, Nicole; and four brothers and one sister.
