Jerome "Smooth" Hill was born in Chicago, Illinois to Donna Randle and John Hill ll (who recently preceded in death).
Jerome attended Elementary & Senn High School in Chicago. He received his diploma and trade certification from Job Corp in 1990.
On December 23, 1990, Jerome welcomed the apple of his eye into the world; that's the day the his first daughter Keanna L. Hill was born.
In March 1993, Jerome married his sweetheart Ericka Wright and to this union his "Baby Girl", Ki'Ara D. Hill, was born.
He accepted our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ as his personal Savior at an early age. But it wasn't until he joined International Church of Prayer under the spiritual guidance of the Late Rev. James Walker where he developed a personal relationship with God and began to serve him. Jerome served as Rev. Walker's Armor Bearer, and altar server and any other void that needed to be filled while at international Church of Prayer, which sometimes included being the church security and the police patrol for every funeral procession.
Jerome was the hardest working man anyone has ever known. He was a jack of all trades, but his true love being a Chef. He worked in culinary at Seven Ten Lanes (formerly Lucky Strikes) for almost 19 years, and for the last 3 years he worked at Macy's Walnut Room fulfilling his dream.
In October 2009, Jerome organized the 1G Playmates/Queenz Social Club and his journey and love for community service and club world took off from there. Jerome joined the 878 Club Family in November 2009 and since then he had founded or co-founded several chapters of the family.
