Jeffrey Echols was born December 16, 1944 to Anna Mae and Jacob Echols. He was the first born among four other brothers and one sister.

Jeffrey attended Crane High School and graduated before going into the workforce, which included one year of Military Service

Jeffery was preceded in death; by both parents; brothers, Steven and Jerald; and sister, Julienne.
