During those years, he trained and was certified as an EMT tech and was on the job until retiring due to illness.

Greg loved to eat! Especially good home-cooked soul food! He was most famous for saying "I don't want NO GREENS on my plate!" or "Who made the Mac and Cheese? It better be right!" In addition to his food he loved sports with his glass of wine! Greg did not play about Sunday Night Football or his basketball games. he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He loved to tell stories about very skilled abilities back in the day!

Greg shared a very special bond with his younger brother Alfred Jr., (who also preceded him into eternity).
