Born on December 12, 1949 to Vera Davis and Alfred Moore Sr., ( who both preceded him into eternity).
Gregory, affectionately known as "Greg", grew up in Chicago, IL where he completed his educational career.
Greg was such a great father, uncle and brother to his family! He would often help everyone when it came to automotive repair. He had a passion for driving and for helping others as well. He worked as a school bus driver for Beckenham School Transit in Harvey, IL before relocating to Kansas City, MO in the mid 1980's.
During those years, he trained and was certified as an EMT tech and was on the job until retiring due to illness.
Greg loved to eat! Especially good home-cooked soul food! He was most famous for saying "I don't want NO GREENS on my plate!" or "Who made the Mac and Cheese? It better be right!" In addition to his food he loved sports with his glass of wine! Greg did not play about Sunday Night Football or his basketball games. he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He loved to tell stories about very skilled abilities back in the day!
Greg shared a very special bond with his younger brother Alfred Jr., (who also preceded him into eternity).
Gregory peacefully experienced his new beginning surrounded by his children and grandchildren on Friday June 28, 2019.
He leaves to cherish his memory, 6 siblings: John (Linda) , Lawrence (Suzette), Kanzell, Vera (James), Karen, and Alreida (Neal).
He leaves to carry out his legacy, His children: Vera ( Dennis), Karen, Patrice and Patrick. His Grandchildren: Aeisha, Paris, Renako (Taviah), Anthony (Tami), Michael, DeShaun, Antoine (Kentrell), Chris, Veronique (Kjiel), and Patricia. He also leaves his 16 grandchildren. He also leaves precious memories and fun times with a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends!
