Frankie was the second born to Jessie and Frank in Coahoma, Mississippi, June 11, 1935. Both parents preceded her in death as well as brothers; Howard, James and sister; Delores. She is survived by her brother Henry and two loving sons Roy and Michael.
Frankie late moved to Chicago and attended night school at Wendell Phillips. She held a position at Westin Electric for 22 years from which she retired and made many life long friends. Shhe then went on to work at Michael Reese Hospital for 17 years.
Frankie gave her life to the Lord at an early age and lived in a life of faith. She was a longtime member of Mount Carmel Missionary Baptist Church and was on the beautification ministry. She enjoyed listening to blues, jazz and traveling. Her favorite foods were Mexican and Chinese. She enjoyed spending time with family & friends. As a matriarch, she hosted every holiday, making them special, bringing us together. Frankie was a faithful loving mother, grandmother, aunt and friend to many. We will forever cherish her and the memories we made.
