Eddie McGrew

Eddie Louis McGrew was the 2nd of 11 children from the union of Fred Eddie & Pearlia McGrew, Eddie was introduced to the world December 6, 1941 in Butler, Alabama.

Eddie migrated to Chicago, Illinois as a young adult and chose to further his education after high school in the field of welding. He enrolled and completed his welding certification at Washburn Technical Institution. Eddie began and ended his career in welding and secured opportunities with Chrysler and General Motors and furthered his career in the oil fields until injured.

Eddie enjoyed activities in his leisure time which included: observing college ball, fishing, building and hunting.

Eddie married three times and fathered one daughter, Sonya McGrew. 

Eddie transitioned February 12, 2020.
