On October 4, 1941, Delores Westbrooks was born in Bogalusa, Louisiana to Dora Lee Hendricks Thompson Davis and James C. Davis, both preceded her in death. Delores was also preceded in death by her daughter, Cassanadra Westbrooks and Grandson, Lamar Townes. Siblings Alvin H. Davis, Leslie W. Davis and Ronald Davis.
She attended Central Memorial High School. Delores worked at Rush University Hospital for over 34 years as a Dietary Assistant.
Early in life Delores was a Jehovah's Witness later she attended a Baptist Church.;
Delores was an introvert, which made her the perfect confidant. She didn't take any mess, told it like it was and kept it going. In addition, she had a nurturing spirit that warmed everyone's heart. She was always willing to lend a helping hand, no matter how big or small the situation
