Bessie M Miller

Betsy Marie Miller, affectionately known as "Betty" entered into eternal peace on September 14, 2020.

Betsy was born October 12, 1940 to the late Raymond and Rev. Theda (Harris) Miller in Chicago, Illinois. Betsy was the oldest of four children. She attended Chicago Public Schools and graduated from DuSable High School, Class of 1959.

Betsy confessed Christ at an early age, then once more as an adult by the late Pastor Elder Whitehead at the Mount Carmel M.B. Church as her daughter witnessed and will always remember.

Betsy had many hobbies; always taking many classes, such as sewing, knitting, crocheting and clerical. Her love was reading. Books were throughout her home. Her second love... Ching, Ching! She has hit the Jackpot now. She's with God!

Betsy worked for the United States Railroad Retirement Board. She retired after forty-two years of service with several Honorable Mentions
