Sumarya Tolliver also known by her loved ones as Ma'am was born February 28, 1962 in Chicago, Illinois to her mother Erma Thomas (who precedes her in death) and father George Washington (who also precedes her in death). She confessed at a very early age in life.
Sumarya attended CPS system, and completed her education at Kennedy-King College, AMS Medical School of Billing and Coding and Securities Inc.
Sumarya enjoyed children, and her employment at Sacred Heart Catholic School, St. Ambrose Catholic School and Busy Bee Academy let her playful, loving abilities shine. Sumarya also loved working at Mount Sinai Hospital later on. She adored her many friends there and will be missed by them as well.
Sumarya Tolliver, leaves behind four children, two daughters: Sumarya B, (Leroy), Sueretta Latreece and two sons: William (Rochelle) and Martine' (Virginia), a lovely host of grandchildren: Micah, Lauren, Layla, Taylor, Jazmine, Mariah, Cynsere, Seth, Sebastian, Adale, Anthony, Gabrielle, Martine' which whom she loved dearly.
Sumarya was a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister,cousin, aunt , and friend. She was known for having a blast and having the most fun wherever she went. Sumarya was always there for anyone who needed her. Oh! And she love to shop and had a adoration for music and concerts. This will forever live on! Smart as a whip and remembered EVERYTHING.
Sumarya transitioned from this life all too soon on July 20, 2019. She also leaves to mourn her passing four sisters: Marsela, Erma J., Willilean, Verinica and one brother Ronnie.She was succeeded in death by her parents: Erma Thomas & George Washington, grandparents, her husband, Gabriel Maxwell, her brothers: Moody Tolliver Jr & Randy Tolliver. Many cousins, nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
