Starling R Hightower Jr

On Monday July 1, 2019, Starling Hightower Jr. a loving husband, brother, cousin and stepfather of 4 children passed away at the age of 59.

Starling was born January 11, 1960 in Chicago, Illinois to Nancy B. Hightower and Starling R. Hightower Sr. He was preceded in death by his two brothers, Sterling & Steven Hightower and both of his parents. 

He served in Marine Corp Reserves in 1979 and later on worked at the Jesse Brown VA Hospital in housekeeping and mail clerk. He met Luecrisie in 2004. They married June 19, 2009 and their love for each other was unconditional and pure. Although never having kids of his own, he was blessed with 4 step-children and 8 grandchildren.

Starling was a avid music lover and loved bowling with friends and family. He would always start his weekends off by having him a few shots of cognac white playing all the great hit songs on his stereo system. He loved to dress to impress when they would go out. His favorite saying was "Everything is not for Everybody."

He was known for his quiet, wit, infectious smile and his kind giving spirit.

Starling is survived by his wife, Luecrisie Hightower, his four step-children; Marvin, Marquita, Samantha, and Carlitha, his nephew Sterling Hightower Jr and several cousins, sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws, and close friends.
