Leroy Graves was born September 14, 1954 in Centreville, MS to Alberta Chatman-Graves and Ike Graves Sr. Her was the tenth child of thirteen children. Leroy accepted Christ at an early age at Holly Grove Baptist Church under the late Rev. Luke White. In adulthood he moved to Chicago, IL where he was under the leadership of the late Elder E. Whitehead in the 1970's. He departed this early life o December 29, 2018 at 1:45 pm at University of Chicago Hospital.
Leroy was preceded in death by his parents Alberta and Ike Graves, Sr., brothers Ike. Jr., James "Lil Buddy", Dave, Leo, Melvin, John Wayne and sister Grace, "Joyce"
Leroy attended Williams Winans High School and Wilkerson County Vocational Center.
Leroy met and married Theresa Johnson who preceded him in death and to that union one son, Erin Leroy was born.
When Leroy moved to Chicago he started at Medley Movers & Storage then Jimmy Moving Company and until he made his transition he worked as a jack of all trades at Wells Plumbing.

Also a host of FAVORITE nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
