Leo Ford Jr., or June, Uncle June, Juney as he was affectionately known, was born to the union of the late Leo and Lenora Ford on April 26, 1953 in Chicago, Illinois. Leo was the second of eight children, five of whom preceded him in death.
June accepted Christ at an early age and was a trusted and faithful member of Mt. Carmel Bible Church until his passing on Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at the age of 66.
After graduating from Calumet High School, Leo went on to receive several certifications in building management during his career.
Leo was united in holy matrimony to the late Beatrice (Bea) Atwater in June 1986. As a devoted and loving couple, the two were wed for 27 years until Bea's passing in 2013.
A committed family man, Leo imparted love and joy to his family and friends through his infectious laughter.
Leo also had a knack for creative and effective entrepreneurship. His outgoing personality and bustling small business brought him many friends and associates.
Leo leaves to mourn his passing two siblings, Shirley Ford and Clarence Ford (Marilyn). He also leaves behind an aunt, Juanita Harris; three uncles, James (Denise), Earl, and Abraham; and countless loving nieces and nephews, numerous cousins, and many more relatives and friends.
