Kerry Wendell Lloyd entered life on November 23, 1955 in Chicago, Illinois to the union of Turner and Katherine Lloyd. Kerry was third of four children.
Kerry attended R.S. Abbott Elementary School and McGlairance Occupational High School. Kerry worked at Reliable Galvanizing Steel Company for 27 years.
Kerry accepted Christ at an early age at Rock Hill missionary Baptist Church in Sardis, Mississippi. Kerry was a loving and quiet person, he didn't mind lending a helping hand to family and friends and anyone in the community. Kerry was a smooth and easy-going man. Kerry loved spending time with his great niece, Layla. He loved playing with her and bringing her treats. Kerry was a Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle and Friend to many, and will be truly missed.
Kerry was called to glory on Tuesday, June 4, 2019. He was preceded in death by: his mother and father and one nephew, Nathaniel. He leaves to cherish his memory: son, Rashu (Vivan); one gandson, Rashu Jr.; one sister, Gwendolyn; two brothers, Arlander (Shari) and Turner, Jr.; two uncles, Marshall Norwood (Lavern) and Ervin Norwood; three nephews, Darnell, Terrance, and Andre Brown; one niece, Kearn Dobins; six great nieces, Kathy Dajanan, Natiya, Brianna, Ganyihan and Layla; four great nephews, Keyshawn, Deshun, Nashawn and Andre Brown, Jr.; as well as three great nephews, Norvel, Natavien and Nathaniel.
