Janis Partee-Hails

Janis M. Partee Hails was born into existence September 5, 1945 to M.E. and Charles Watson Sr. in Chicago, Illinois. She was the fifth child of six children. She was preceded in death by her parents, four of her siblings, Doris, Gladys, Ollie, and Linda, and her Godsister, Katherine Fells.

She received her education from Lucy Flowers Technical High School for Girls and Community High School District 218. She attended New Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Morgan Park throughout her Christian life experience. Some of her hobbies were baking and going to the casino with her friends.

Janis first job was at a drug store in Altgeld Gardens. Janis held the position of Building President from the Local Advisory Council in the building where she resided, the Judge Slater Apartments. 

Janis was blessed with one child, Johnathan Brenson.

On Tuesday, October 15, 2019, Janis was born into everlastingness, leaving her family and friends with many moments of fond remembrances.
