Irma Lee Bailey

Irma was born on July 17, 1937 in Chatham, Mississippi. She was the only child of Annie Mae Neighbors and Bernard Walker. They both preceded her in death.

Irma attended Dunbar High School in Chicago, IL. After high school, she married Agenaldo Bailey ll. Agenaldo preceded her in death.

A consummate mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and homemaker, Irma was an outstanding cook. She enjoyed preparing meals and baking for her family and friends.

Over the years, her interests included gardening, playing cards, music, attending family gatherings and of course, fashion.

Irma had an unwavering faith in God. She was a member of Mount Carmel Missionary Baptist Church. She was very involved with her church; tirelessly assisting with numerous fundraising and charity events. She was also a member of the church choir.
