Ida Mae Reed was born February 10, 1927 in Vicksburg, Mississippi to the union of WiIlie and Josie Jackson who both preceded her in death.
Ida Mae later moved to Chicago where she worked over twenty-five years in maintenance and later retired as a homemaker.
Ida Mae confessed her belief in Christ at an early age. Ida Mae later became a member of Mary Baptist Church in Chicago.
On August 14, the Lord called Ida Mae home.
Ida Mae leaves to cherish fond memories: special nieces, Callie Jones (Michael) and Mary: nephews, Jackie and Henry: the children she loved dearly and helped raise: Jacquelyn Robinson (Lawrence), Kimberly Hollings, Stefanie Reid (Cornelius), Monty Hollings (Chiquia) and Lenore Hollings: and a host of other great nieces, nephews and friends.
Ida Mae had five brothers and three sisters all preceded her in death" James, George, Willie, Sylvester, Sammuel, Mary, Pinkie and Emma: also one niece, Josie.
