Darryl Lavon Wright, affectionately known as "Lil Man" was born December 9, 1979 in Chicago, Illinois to Lisa Wright and Dale Sayden. He passed away on December 24, 2019 in Calumet Heights, Illinois. He was preceded in death by Theatris and Gloria Wright of Chicago (Grandparents), Timothy Collins (Dad), Michael Wright (Brother) and Krystal Daniels (Sister). Darryl leaves to mourn his mother, Lisa Lynette Wright, sister, Ieshia Marie Wright, brothers; Anthony and Joshua, grandparents; Dianne and Butch Gilder and Daniel Earl. Aunties; Victoria, Nora, and Nikki, uncles; Darell, John, Courtney Collins, Randy Moore and Kolby Collins.
Darryl also leaves to mourn four beautiful children; Darryl Jr. (son), Kaylah and Kayloni and Isabelle.
Darryl attended Crete-Monee High School, where he played football as a running back. He earned his GED a few years later. He placed first in National and third in World Power Lifting. HE then went n to earn an associates degree in Business Administration, and certification in custodial services.
Darryl loved to workout and detail cars. He was surely a "Ladies Man." He loved to be with family and children. Before passing, he worked at Frito Lay in Joliet. "Lil Man" had a jolly, hearty and joyful laugh. You couldn't help but to laugh with him. He was very fluent in the Hispanic Community, where many friends became "LaFamilia Amor."
Darryl was very loyal to the ones he loved. He was a protector. He will truly be missed, and long lived in memory.
