Mr. & Mrs. McCulley, Family and Staff,
As you know, I was in Pueblo recently to celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial for my dear aunt and godmother, Rosemary Skubal. I just wanted to thank you for all you did for my uncle Francis and his family during this time of loss. It means so much to families when your ministry to the bereaved is so supportive, professional, faith-filled, and pastoral. You did all this and more.
It was a blessing to work with you in my limited capacity as preacher, concelebrant, and presider at the place of burial. I know my aunt would have been most pleased, as were my uncle and his family. I make these remarks not only as an extended family member, but also as a member of the Catholic clergy. For us it is a blessing to work with holy people like yourselves. Your work and ministry is vital and can make all the difference to people in their time of direction, support, and need. So thank you for what you do and have done so many years.
I hope to work with you again in the future. May you and all your loved ones enjoy the peace and joy of the Lord's Resurrection this Easter and throughout the Season of Easter.
With prayers and all good wishes,
Fr. Louis Morrone, O.P.
